Aldi’s Next Best Thing: Harry Specters

In November 2022 we had the opportunity to take part in #AldisNextBigThing on Channel 4. As a luxury chocolatier with a cause, we’ve always cared deeply about our social mission: to create meaningful employment for young autistic people.

So, sharing our story on TV and being given the opportunity to sell our chocolates in the UK’s fourth-largest grocer is a huge milestone for us.

What Is Aldi’s Next Big Thing?

Aldi are on the hunt to discover new suppliers with the most exciting products. On Channel 4 up and coming British suppliers battle it out each Thursday at 8pm in a unique competition to become Aldi’s Next Big Thing.

Our Winning Product

What is it?

We have three winning bars making their way on to Aldi's shelves: Dark Orange Caramel, Milk Peanut Butter, and Milk Sea Salt Caramel.

These are three of our most popular award-winning flavours.

How it is made

All of our chocolate is made - mostly by hand - in our factory in Cambridgeshire by our amazing Autistic chocolatiers.

Our cocoa is ethically sourced, and we never use artificial ingredients.

Suporting Autistic Adults

For every £1 spent with us, 69p directly benefits Autstic people and their families through paid employement, free work experience, and training opportunities.

Our Experience on The Show

"We’re delighted to be on the show. Competing against all the other brilliant small businesses in the competition was quite a daunting experience as we didn’t know what to expect. But it was great fun, and we do love a challenge here at Harry Specters." - Mona Shah, Founder
